sites (as well as other football websites) have joined a link program to help
raise awareness and traffic for this site.

around Anfield before the kick off for the FBK Kaunas game. Posters, handouts
and stickers were distributed as well as collections being made in various pubs

of the Anfield pubs. A surfing banner also floated over the KOP several times
before, during and after the match.

20th
August - Benefit night for Michael Shields at the Shankly Suite, Anfield.
Radio
1 DJ Colin Murray was compere for the evening which featured music acts Carl
Brown, the Drellas, Ian Prowse from 'Amsterdam' and the mighty Shack. Various
items were auctioned, including the shirt worn by Steven Gerrard at the Liverpool
game earlier in the day, which raised £650, and Jamie Carragher's England
shirt from the game against Denmark earlier in the week, which raised £300.
There were readings from Dave Kirby, Nicky Allt and Peter Evo, and the evening
was capped with a rousing rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone, which brought
everyone to their feet. Many, many thanks to all the acts who gave up their
time to support this very worthy cause, and to everyone who attended to make
the evening such a fantastic success in raising over £4000.

thanks to Jason and his sponsors for this boost for Michael's campaign.
